How are your bags made?
Our bags are made using a sewing machine. The process starts with making the patterns which are drawn and cut by hand. We use these patterns to cut the leather and lining, the pieces are glued and then stitched together by machine and the bag is finished and edges are painted by hand. All the tools used in the process are handheld even embossing the leather with our emblem.

What is the primary material used?
The primary material used is Leather Calf, which is sourced locally in Spain.

Do you make all of your own bags? If not, please explain who helps you make your bags.
The bags are designed in London and we then work with our artisan - Yassine El Artesano in Spain to produce our bags. We believe our collaboration is unique and makes the design process very inspiring.

What is your design inspiration?
Perfect for adding a touch of glamour and style the Maggie and it is a statement bag that adds a classic staple to your wardrobe. The inspiration for the Maggie Bag came from the famous handbag of the first female British Prime Minister. The bag represents influences from the 70's but with modern touches from the shape of the lock and flap to the adjustable strap with a chain. To the wearer it represents a symbol of strength, power and significance.

What sewing machine to you use to make your bags?
To make our handbags we use a PFAFF sewing machine.
